Love Me Comics

Here are two stills from Help! featuring The Smart One and The Cute One playing the organ with a whole mess of comics in front of them. I can make out copies of Superman, Adventure Comics, and Jimmy Olsen. Interesting--I would've pegged the Beatles are more Marvel guys.

I think I spotted a Batman logo in there...To the right of the two Superman logos...

I would have pegged McCartney as DC and Lennon as Marvel.

Heck, the plot of "Help!" could almost be a Bob Haney TEEN TITANS story... Aqualad as Ringo...

(Hmmm - wonder how the Liverpudlians would've done as real heroes, like, say, The Three Musketeers...)

I think I spotted an Archie comic in there as well. Also, I believe McCartney was a Marvel fan since he wrote and preformed the song Magneto and Titanium Man with Wings.
