"Comic Land" - 1948
This is another vintage, presumably P.D. photo I found online, titled "Comic Land." It's from Spring(ish) 1948--I know that from that bottom copy of DC's Mr. District Attorney; its issue #4, cover-dated July 1948.
This is what I imagine Heaven looks like.

Heaven? I dunno... I don't see any Hulk titles there...
its funny; look close and you can only see two superhero titles amid that mountain of comics! (Detective way up top, on the left, and Whiz Comics on the far right)
...and i wonder why comics dont sell like they used to...
Comic Land is the stuff that dreams are made of, just look at that display!
Super hero related titles also include Human Torch, Master Comics (starring Captain Marvel Jr.), Jerry Siegel's Funnyman, All-Winners (Timely B-level heroes), Captain America, Sun Girl, and Black Cat. So yeah, plenty of superheroes are represented on that stand.
Whoops...I missed the top rack with the Marvel Mystery Comics and Detective Comics...I'm sliiping!
